Island Peak News

We walked away from our landing at Lukla and spent three days walking to Dingboche (4,400m).  We're now busy acclimatising which means sitting around drinking endless cups of tea, chatting with some guys from Ireland and making armchair ascents of Ama Dablam.

Tomorrow we head for Chukhung (4,700m) and join our Island Peak course.

We've really been enjoying reading your posts and looking at your photos (although not sure about Andy's beard...) We are off to Barcelona for a week - will email when we get back.

Hey you two

When do you get to New Zealand? Are you going to be in Auckland at any point? A friend of mine is moving over and if you could meet up with her that would be cool, a friendly UK face and all that.

Hope the trekking is ok.
